Baltic-Russia Youth Forum is open for young professionals from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia in the field of defense and security and international relations, bachelor`s, master’s and doctoral level students of the afore mentioned fields, as well as young scholars from think tanks and research institutions.

The Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association (EATA) is organizing together with the Latvian Transatlantic Organization (LATO), Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the NATO Headquarters, Baltic-Russia Youth Forums. The aim of the Forum is to bring together 45 young leaders and experts from the Baltic States and Russia in order to discuss together possible developments in Baltic-Russia relations. During the days, participants will have an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with different defense and security policy experts, as well as post-graduates, PhD students and young researchers from the Baltic countries and Russia.

In 2012, the forum event took place in October 16-18 in Tallinn, Estonia.

In 2013, the forum took place in November 4-7 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

In 2014, the forum took place in November 19-22 in Riga, Latvia.

In 2015, the forum took place in November 3-6 in Tallinn, Estonia.

In 2016, the forum took place in November 2-5 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

In 2017, the forum took place in September 5-8 in Tallinn, Estonia.

In 2018, the forum was held in September 26-29 in Jurmala, Latvia. The summary of the conference can be found here

In 2019, the forum took place in October 23.-26 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

In 2020-2021 the forum did not take place due to the pandemic.

In 2022, the event took place in November 3-5 in Tallinn, Estonia under another name "Baltic-Ukraine Youth Forum".

In 2023, the event will take place in Tallinn, Estonia under the name of "Nordic-Baltic Youth Forum".
