The Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association is organizing the second annual Baltic Russia Youth Forum in Tallinn at the Radisson Blue Hotel Olümpia from October 16-19, 2012.
The general aim of the international forum is to draw attention to the next steps in European and regional security and foreign policy, underlining the developments of NATO, EU and Russia in this field.
But not least important is to raise a public awareness and support towards the issues in Estonia and other Baltic states. The objective of the seminar is to create a meeting point for future young leaders who are actively involved above mentioned topics to exchange ideas about the challenges and possible cooperation in the region. The event is organized in cooperation with Ebert Stiftung and NATO Headquarters.
Last year BRYF marked itself as being a successful youth seminar, receiving about 45 students from Russia (at least 20 participants from Russia) and the Baltic countries and speakers from among highly profiled scholars, intellectuals and officials from universities and international organizations.
