Around 80 grade school teachers across the nation will be participating at a Holocaust-themed conference Tallinn on January 24.
The event is hosted by the Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
Karel de Beer, head of the Task Force for International Cooperation on Holocaust Education, Remembrance and Research is the event’s keynote speaker, addressing the international dimensions of commemorating the genocide of Jews during the Second World War.
The historic and cultural perspective of the issue will be addressed by Head Rabbi Shmuel Kot, head of the Human Rights Institute Mart Nutt, Academy of Arts professor David Vseviov and PR-expert Marica Lillemets.
