We are pleased to invite You to participate in the international forum „Women, Peace and Security – the Afghan View“ what will take place on 11-12 November, 2010 in Tallinn.
The conference will focus on the issue of women, peace and security from the perspective of Afghanistan, including the cooperation between civil and military actors. Its aim is to give an overview of the main achievements and challenges facing the implementation of UNSCR 1325 in Afghanistan and discuss the way forward in the immediate aftermath of the deliberations and possible further steps by the UN Security Council on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of UNSCR 1325. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for high-level discussion between policy makers and experts from states, international organizations, and civil society organizations.
